My Story

Learning Disability Network London supports adults with learning disabilities to lead the lives they really want to lead!!

It's all about making sure that people can make their own choices and have the support that fits best for them.

Lots of the support LDN provides is around supported living - but another really important role is in supporting people to have access to support in the community - learning and experiencing new things and being able to do the things that they already love to do.

I am fundraising specifically towards the LDN Community Hub. This amazing resource, based in the heart of the community allows people the opportuinty to meet with their peers and do a huge range of different activities - that might include film making, learning about technology, health promotion, your rights to vote, art and creativity and so much more.

The work at the Hub has an immediate and a direct impact on the quality of peoples lives and I am very glad to be able to support it through sponsorship from the Brighton Marathhon.

2024 Brighton Marathon  on April 7th, is a 26.2 mile route from city to coast past the iconic sites of Brighton and Hove. Enjoy an atmosphere like no other in this bustling, vibrant and colourful city, which welcomes thousands of spectators and the local community each year.
