My Story

The impact of Abuse in all forms -Emotional, Physical and Sexual has a  devastating impact on Children and Adults.  Shame, Guilt, Isolation and a Fear of speaking out , of not being heard or believed, takes it toll.

No matter how long ago it happened, it continues to impact your life in one way or another.

As a survivor of Childhood Abuse in all forms I know how that feels and the importance of support and resources for recovery and understanding the impact. Taking part in the marathon is a reflection of my own recovery journey and the commitment it has taken to enable me to find my own voice and let go of the shame and guilt. ❤️💙

At Survivors Of  aBuse, Chris Tuck (founder) offers workshops to Survivors who are looking for resources and information on changing outcomes.  Every pound raised  provides funded spaces on 8 week recovery workshops for Adults and these spaces are much needed and appreciated. Thank you for your support it really means a lot, not just to me but for every survivor of child abuse lucky enough to be supported by Survivors Of aBuse ❤️💙

On Sunday 7 April 2024 I am taking part in the Brighton Marathon and would really appreciate your support. I would love to smash the target of £5000 and provide support for many other victims/survivors so that they too can continue their own recovery and let go of the shame, guilt and fear. ❤️💙

Chris and I also co-host the podcast: Breaking The Cycle To StepForward all about  overcoming  Trauma and Abuse ❤️💙
