My Story

We all know someone who has been affected by Cancer, whether it's a family member or a close friend or just someone we meet briefly.

I personally have lost family and a good friend to this Disease and have friends battling Cancer so let's help beat this horrible thing.

I recently had my own run in with prostrate cancer. Luckily after lots of testing and a biopsy I have now been given the all clear. So I do have some idea of the mental stress cancer can cause and having family support and good friends around definitely helped.

So after going for a short jog of just over 1 mile and sitting down afterwards thinking should I call an ambulance 😂 I had a great idea that I should run a marathon.  So I entered the Brighton one for next April.

Brighton Marathon 2024 on April 7th, is a 26.2 mile route from city to coast past the iconic sites of Brighton and Hove. Enjoy an atmosphere like no other in this bustling, vibrant and colourful city, which welcomes thousands of spectators and the local community each year.
